'Bahía Nueva Hotel'

INFORMATION
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION
The Bahía Nueva Hotel is situated in the City of Puerto Madryn, by the shore of the New Gulf (Golfo Nuevo) in the Province of Chubut, Argentine Patagonia.
Only 80 km separate the city from the entrance to the Fauna Reserve of the Peninsula Valdes, recently named Patrimony of Humanity.
The Hotel is downtown, along the seaside at Roca Avenue N° 67.

ARCHITECTURE
From the exterior, its architectonic style and way, respects important concepts, which are well worth highlighting. We try to enrich the urban landscape by not adding visual impacts that could create dissonance with the nearby constructions.
The look of a "big house" (ground floor, plus two floors) subliminaly transmits through its view, the objectives of our Directors, which aim to give our guests, the feeling of homely surroundings.
In other words, a place of contention, security, no excessive formal structures, attendance, confidence, joy and respect; all translated into service techniques ensured with attitudes, something we have done since the beginning.
Next to the building we have a 400 sq. meter colourful lawn park.

GUESTS
It is worth mentioning, the quickness of attention and the search for solutions of all those problems that could circumstantially arise and which, has distinguished us always.
Our staff job is diagrammed based on the fact that any inconvenience must be taken care during 24 hrs., no matter the circumstance.
All guests visiting us with the intention of appreciating the tourist attractions of the area, can count on us to obtain the necessary information and thus, get the most out of our resources according to how long would they stay.
For those who come on business, we have a general supporting structure for their jobs that has always been recognised by them, and consequently, local Companies have positioned us, within a short period of time, as the most reliable Hotel in the area.

CATEGORY
According to provincial standards, our hotel has been officially ranked as "Three Stars", due mainly to its physical dimensions rather than its sensitive values.

QUALITY OF SERCICES
To guarantee the quality of our Services, we developed a Quality Management System potentially certifiable under ISO 9001 Standards, Series 2000.
Our Management have established a Quality Policy by which, we are all firmly engaged in maintaining an "avant guarde" service, understanding and satisfying our guest expectations which turn to be the final quality definers.
Along with the above mentioned Policy, a number of procedures that regulate different activities have been issued, with all our staff members involved. All staff are constantly trained and evaluated according to special programs which form part of the improvements proposed by our Management.
Quality Policy, Objectives and Procedures are periodically checked to ensure the proper fulfilment of all current and future guests expectations, leading us to the implementation of systematic improvements.

INSTALATION
ROOMS Forty rooms, out of which 32 are double and 8 are triple with twin and single beds. Four rooms face the bay and the rest are looking towards our garden. All duly equipped with wide beds and comfortable mattresses & soummiere enabling a good rest. Cable T.V. in all rooms, as well as digital phones. Air cushioned doubled walls, air and watertight glass doors and windows, specially designed for our Patagonian climate and a hot water radiator heating system which ensures no allergic complications, so commonly caused by other systems. Toilette floors are lined with non-slipping tiles to prevent accidents. A double hot water circuit system generates a continuous and fixed flow. Both rooms and main Hotel accesses are specially designed for disabled guests. Everyday at dawn, a bulletin is delivered containing information about eight different countries with the news of each of the countries and in the eight corresponding languages. BREAKFAST LOUNGE Located in the first floor and facing the sea, guests can enjoy a buffet type breakfast, which is already included in the rates and comprises regional organic jams, hams, croissants, breads, home made cakes and yoghurts, puddings, cereals, scrambled eggs, fruit salads, fresh orange juice, peach and pear syrup, coffee, milk, different types of teas, etc. Guests can either use self- service or request a waiter. LOBBY Located on the ground floor with ample seaview windows, comfortable armchairs and a complete library containing a good number of bibliography about features that our guests are willing to see. The use of this library is totally free; all guests are allowed to take books to their rooms and return them before departure. On the ground floor and close to the front desk, individual safety boxes are located. Its use is free of charge for guests. COCKTAIL AND COFFEE LOUNGE This lounge is located on the ground floor as well. It opens up from 12:00 am to 02:00 a.m and guests can treat themselves with coffee, cocktails and/or some fast foods such as sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. This service can also be requested by Room Service. In this lounge, we have a 36" T.V. guests can watch any material from our Video Library, either by conventional videos or by Laser Discs. You could also enjoy a pool game on our antique French made, semi-pro billiard table or freely work/check e-mails on our PC. Internet can be used at very low cost. DIVERS ROOM AND LOCKERS There is a specific room where guests who go scubba diving can wash and keep their equipment. This room can be also used by those guests who have to leave their rooms during the morning and due to scheduling reasons have to take their flights to their next destination later. They could also take a shower and/or change their clothes at no cost. PARKING Guests can comfortably park their cars in the hotel free of charge, there are six additional fully covered garages that, are available subject to space at an extra cost charge. LAUNDRY All bed sheets are washed in our own Laundry, which it is also available for all those guests who require its use at very low cost. SAFETY As far as the Fire Fighting Equipment is concerned, the building complies with all requirements established by local authorities for Safety purposes. Besides official requirements, we have also installed a Fire Escape Exit duly indicated and very easy to reach from any point of the Hotel. All areas are monitored through a series of smoke detectors linked to a central control board, located at the front desk. This device works also for the detection of fires as well. Also in this matter, guests are covered by a very reliable 24hrs medical emergency system at no cost. The building has two hydraulic type elevators making its use quieter and safer.
